Product Description -

Heat resistant air drying enamel for use with IP9139, PL101 and IP9029 heat resistant stoving enamel as a touch up. Resistant to ester lubricants, Skydrol, heat and corrosion , it also has many other uses in extreme environments and is applied, for example on aircraft wheels and under carriages in maintenance. 

It may also have application as a marking ink or paint in the aircraft industry, as it also adheres to polyurethane and epoxy, with resistance to skydrol brake fluid, the new replacements for Genklene, chemicals, heat etc.. A black version is also being evaluated.

Performance -


Performance data applies only after 24 hours, tests on steel include:

  • 1000 Hours at 500ºC (930ºF) dry heat
  • 100 Hours at room temperature in Ester lubricants
  • 3 Hours at 70ºC (160ºF) in Skydrol
  • 100 Hours continous salt spray
Application -


Either one coat by brush to a prepared surface, or two coats by spray application with a short flash off period between coats. Apply for RPS 661/15.
