Product Description -


Stoving, spray applied high heat resisting aluminium filled coating, for use on engine components operating at up to 600°C (1115°F) on 12% Chromium Steel or 500°C (930°F) on low alloy steels which are subjected to harsh media such as phosphate ester based hydraulic fluids.

Performance -


Chrome steels are tested for 100 hours at 600°C (1115°F) whilst low alloy steels are tested at 500°C (930°F). Both steels are tested for 240 hours intermittent exposure to 450°C (840°F) and salt water fog. Both processes also give protection against Skydrol, lubricants and fuels.

 

Application -


Apply to RPS 666/3. Briefly stir or roll containers before use to ensure it has thoroughly mixed, apply one coat and air dry for 15 minutes. Apply a second coat (giving a film thickness of 40-100 microns) air dry for 15 minutes and then stove for 2 hours at 190°C (375°F).
