HIGH HEAT THIN FILM RESISTANT SACRIFICIAL ALUMINIUM COATING

IP Code No - IP9356

OMAT No - 7/167A

Product Description -

This thin film sacrificial aluminium product is a corrosion resistant coating designed for use in challenging environments such as aero engine and marine situations. Normally spray applied, IP9356 is used, for example, in close tolerance areas to protect components from salt laden atmospheres, high temperature oxidation, chemicals and abrasives.

Used in a wide variety of applications, IP9356 provides corrosion and oxidation protection on iron, steel, heat treated stainless steel alloys, titanium and other metallic substrates at temperature up to 700°C (1300°F). IP9356 can also be super or vibro polished (RPS619) to enhance flow of air in aircraft engines where smooth surfaces enhance energy efficiency. (see also, Ipseal and Smooth Seal).

Alternative to Sermetal 709 and 762, possibly being superseded by LR168G, alternative to Sermetal 962.
