LOW SHRINKAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE SEALANT

Very hard high temperature 2 part sealant designed for use in turbine blade roots etc where minimal shrinkage is required. Designed for use over 300°C. Once this product has gone off, it can be run at 400°C, in thicknesses of several thou with no noticeable shrinkage.

MSRR 1043, RPS 482/54

Designed to replace PL224, this material passes an ASTM shrinkage test at 300°C, and is resistant to Skydrol hydraulic brake fluid, turbine fuels and oils.

Pre-mix 10 parts IP1043a to 18 parts IP1043b by weight. Apply by spatula or other tool, wipe off excess at time of application. Air dry for a minimum of 16 hours at room temperature (15-25° C).
