DEVELOPMENT PRODUCT TWO PACK CHROMATE FREE ANTI CORROSIVE PRIMER FOR USE ON ALUMINIUM, MAGNESIUM AND STEEL

Chemically cured high grade chromate free anti corrosive epoxy primer (alternative to DTD 5555, BSX 33 etc) with exceptional adhesion to correctly prepared substaites including magnesium. With good leaching properties and superior levels of protection against all forms of corrosion. Resistant to organic solvents and aircraft operating fluids.

Tested on magnesium (AZ31) aluminium and steel to the following minimum specifications:

• Resistant to 240 hours salt water fog ASTMB117 - on magnesium, aluminium, and steel.
• Resistant to 20 cycles of 20 hours salt spray,followed by 4 hours at 150ºC
• Resistant to 100 hours dry heat at 180ºC
• Resistant to 100 hours at 150ºC lubricating oil
• 3 hours Skydrol ester brake fluid at 70ºC
• Flexible round 60 mm mandril
