Berkstop MS is an extremely effective coating for masking, metal spraying, including plasma spray, and for anti-spatter use in welding and brazing.

The coating combines very easy application and removal in a water base, which is non-flammable and non-toxic and, therefore, ultra-safe in use.

The ability to be removed by a water rinse, even after the highest temperatures, can produce excellent cost and time savings. Excess metal is peeled off the coating easily with a knife.

Application is by dip, brush or spray.

Parts to be coated should be free of grease, dirt or loose scale. Pre-heating is not required. apply an even coating approximately 0.1 mm (0.004") thick, by brushing, dipping or spraying (it may be necessary to dilute with water to spray). The film can be left to air dry (approximately 20-30 minutes) or warmed gently with a flame.

After spraying, welding or brazing, remove excess metal by peeling off with a knife and then remove coating by cold water spray, soak or swabbing.

No special storage conditions are required, shelf-life is normally at least 12 months.
