HEAT RESISTANT CLEAR RESIN

Heat resistant clear resin formulated for use as the base for a range of paints for Rolls Royce aircraft engines. A blend of difficult resins imparting optimum heat and chemical resistance.

This material will as a clear lacquer resist 100 hours at 400°C, 100 hours at 150°C in ester lubricants, and 3 hours at 70°C in Skydrol. In addition it has reasonable salt spray performance.

This material is not normally applied on its own, however it could be sprayed, brushed or dipped. Flash off for 15 to 30 minutes then stove for maximum of 1 hour at 190°C.
