IPSLIP 1045 - WATER BASED DRY FILM LUBRICANT FOR HIGH LOAD APPLICATIONS

Ipslip 1045 should be considered as a water based version of Ipslip 1042. The coating retains many of the outstanding properties of Ipslip 1042 but with the added environmental benefit of being water based.

Ipslip 1045 is particularly suited to the lubrication and corrosion protection of industrial components such as threaded fasteners, springs, piston skirts, plain bearings, pressings etc.

Outstanding Features -

  • Good corrosion protection: Comparable to most common plating techniques such as zinc or cadmium plate
  • Completely dry lubricating film: Resists pick up of dust, dirt and other harmful contaminants
  • Good resistance to a broad spectrum of aggressive chemicals
  • Low coefficient of friction: Alleviates stick slip behaviour and provides uniform torque tension characteristics on threaded fasteners
  • Reduces wear: Extends component life/service intervals
  • Reduces risk of seizure
  • Contains no toxic lead or antimony compounds
