IPSLIP 9286 - LOW FRICTION COATING

Ipslip520 is a fluoropolymer based coating specifically formulated for application to small components by the  ‘dip spin’ technique. The cured coating has excellent mechanical properties which when combined with its outstanding anticorrosion properties make it ideal for the protection of automotive components, particularly items such as threaded fasteners, small pressings, springs etc.

Outstanding Features -

  • Excellent corrosion protection: superior to most common plating techniques such as Zinc or Cadmium plate.
  • Completely dry lubricating film: Resists pick up of dust, dirt and other harmful contaminants.
  • Good resistance to a broad spectrum of aggressive chemicals.
  • Uniform friction coefficient: Allows precision tensioning of threaded connections.
  • Reduces wear: Extends component life.
  • Easily applied by spray or dip spin techniques.
