Made by BritainIndestructible Paint Ltd has been nominated to represent Birmingham, Hall Green, in “Made by Britain”, a national award scheme to recognise excellence in manufacturing.
Selected by Hall Green MP Roger Godsiff to represent his constituency, Indestructible Paint Ltd will be one of 650 companies put forward to produce a map of iconic manufacturers across Britain.
Mr Godsiff nominated Indestructible Paint Ltd for its long history of involvement with aerospace and high technology coatings, including Formula 1 and military products.
“The company is committed to developing and enhancing their range of high temperature and sacrificial coatings and they innovate by trying to find the best solutions to problems using both organic and inorganic alternatives. The company operated out of an area of my constituency with high unemployment and their commitment to the area and employment of local people provides a valuable source of employment,” Mr Godsiff said.
The “Made by Britain” project was opened by Secretary of State for Business, Vince Cable
MP, on July 6, 2011. All nominated companies can be seen on a map of ‘contemporary British
