New project leader for purpose engineered coatings developmentNew or modified coatings are now needed more often than previously to meet environmental legislation and improved technical performance. In most cases these also have to meet the individual customer’s application requirements.
Each development project at Indestructible Paint is now headed by a chemist who remains with it from inception to its final adoption by the customer. This has been found to improve the company’s operational efficiency and provides benefits for the company’s customers.
The decision to increase the size of the development team was driven by the increasing need for these 'purpose engineered' coatings.
Since joining the paint industry in 1982, Indestructible Paint's new project chemist, Peter Szyman, has gained a wealth of experience on automotive and aerospace coatings at a number of paint companies. Peter was appointed to the company’s technical staff on 6th January 2009.
