Product Description -
Rockhard stoving matt black epoxy coating, proven for many years as a protective coating on a wide range of metals, including Magnesium, Aluminium and Steel. Resistant to weathering and a wide range of chemicals, uses include aircraft under carriages, control gear, Nimrod escape hatches and optical equipment. Also used on optical instruments as a non reflective coating on glass etc.

Performance -
Tested to DTD 56D which includes: 168 hours salt water immersion Resistance to organic solvents Resistance to lubricating oils 0" bend test (no film break)
Application -
Usually sprayed 30 - 60 minutes at 170-200°C (340-390°F) full metal temperature, sometimes as part of a multi-coat system, can be used in conjunction with Rockhard primer (700-155-003). Our technical department can advise on specific applications. Ask for RPS 661/21.
