Flash Point: Base: 22-32°C

Surface Ensure surfaces are clean and free from dust, dirt etc.

Preparation Ferrous Metals: Phosphate pretreat or etch prime

Non-ferrous Metals: Chromate pretreat or etch prime

Apply over primer and/or undercoat system of 50009 2 pack epoxy zinc phosphate primer and 48013 polyurethane undercoat.

Composites and glass fibre: apply over base coat of 50015 2 pack epoxy spray primer-filler.

Plastics: Solvent wipe with IPA; check compatibility on small area first.

Mixing Refer to colour code reference/mixing information sheet attached.

Allow 15 minutes dwell after mixing before use: stir again before using.

Application Using Spraying Activator 48001/Spraying Thinners 42000, can be applied by Conventional, HVLP or Compliant Spray Guns. Check with our technical department for correct gun set up for specific equipment being used

When mixed with 48022 brushing activator, ideal for application by brush or roller: use brushing thinners 48021 when ambient temperature/humidity is high to ensure wet edge.

Mixed Pot Life: 4 hours

Drying/Curing Air Dry: Touch Dry; 5 hours

Schedule Hard Dry; 24 hours

Force Cure: 40-60 minutes @ 60-70°C

Coverage 8-10 square metres per litre

Clean Up Thinners 42000 or Gunwash 40006

Storage Shelf life: 12 months

Highly flammable liquid: store and use in accordance with the flammable liquid regulations.
