RYLARD MARINE PRIMERS
A specially formulated primer for application by brush or spray to
polyester glass fibre. The surface to
be coated should be well rubbed down with 360 wet or dry paper and all traces
of wax, parting agent and dirt removed.
The primer may be overcoated by any conventional synthetic air drying
undercoat and gives a good adhesion to this difficult surface.
WOOD PRIMER WHITE (A2303-R1)
The ideal pigmented primers for wood.
The first of two coats should be thinned with up to equal parts white
spirits when used on marine ply. They
are suitable under all types of undercoat except Two Pack Polyurethanes.
ZINC PHOSPHATE PRIMER (PF25773-R1 )
Brushing/Spraying primer for use on ferrous surfaces to inhibit
corrosion. Formulated on high quality resin systems and incorporating zinc
phosphate anti corrosive pigments, the primer is ideal for use on clean steel
to prevent premature corrosion.
Suitable for overcoating with Rylard undercoat/gloss system: allow
minimum 24 hours drying before overcoating.
Two Pack Etch
Primer (40021/2)
For aluminium alloys. Used as a thin coat application to etch the surface of aluminium and its alloys to provide adhesion of subsequent coats of primer, undercoat and finish.
Cement filler is supplied in paste form in a variety of packages in
white. It should always be applied
after coats of primer and will flat down with wet or dry paper 3-4 hours after
application. Whilst remaining flexible
when dry it will not shrink or crack and is ideal for filling screw or nail
holes, bruises or seams. When thinned
with White Spirits large areas may be covered by 'broad knife' technique.
