RYLARD
PLUS ENAMEL RANGE
A
synthetic gloss marine enamel in 29 colours including black and white, for topsides, interior work and boot
topping. Gloss retention, ease of
application, either by brush or spray and touching up exceed polyurethane
enamels. Rylard Plus Enamel dries dust
free in three to four hours, is heat resistant to 150+oC and may be
intermixed to produce an infinite variety of shades. Rylard Plus Enamel should always be used over Rylard Plus
Undercoat to ensure a perfect finish since the two materials are formulated as
an integral painting scheme.
Best
results are obtained from the use of two undercoats to shade, rubbed down between
coats with 360 or 400 wet or dry paper using ample fresh water followed by a
full even coat of Rylard Plus Enamel which if brushed should be well laid
off. A second coat of Rylard Plus
Enamel, after careful flatting of the previous coat with 400 wet or dry paper
will result in a surface having exceptional gloss. Covering capacity of Rylard Plus Enamel approx. 750 to 850sq.ft
per 5 litres 14 to 15.8sq metres per litre Rylard Plus Undercoat approx. 850 to
950sq.ft per 5 litres 15.8 to 17.7sq.mtrs per litre.
MATERIALS REQUIRED:
Rylard Marine Primer, selected for surface, Rylard Cement Filler, Rylard Plus Undercoat to shade, Rylard Plus Enamel to shade.
